Join us Saturday morning for our first Raspberry Day!

Stop by the Foundation Garden raspberry patch from 11:00 to 11:30am this Saturday morning with your gardening gloves and pruning shears. Hendrick Farm resident and landscape architect Gillean Denny (accompanied by another resident who will provide translation) will provide a brief overview of the raspberry varieties planted in the patch and will provide instructions on the required pruning to keep the shrubs operating at optimal raspberry output. We will then get in there and freshen up the raspberries for spring!

Additional Raspberry Days will be scheduled in summer and fall, as the different varieties have different pruning requirements.
