The Friends of the Monarchs are delighted with the many emails they’ve received in response to their ask for volunteer support to help install the Monarch Waystation.

Activities: Prepping the space for planting by lifting soil, pulling out nettles, laying landscape cloth, laying soil and mulch, and possibly planting some of the shrubs.

If you are able to lend a hand, meet them in the Monarch Waystation space in the north west end of the Hendrick Foundation Garden on either or both Sundays at 9 a.m.

Your contribution of time and labour will be invaluable in helping to preserve the species and the continuation of the Monarch migration.
